Headaches and Coursework May 5, 2010

Aloha non-readers.
Not posted in 3 months – almost beats the October-Feb non-posting.
(It’s my practicing )

Well, IT coursework has gone good apart from Thorley handing me all back going “that signature looks like a child did it and I’ll have to take off all the marks  for your end user involvement although everyone else has faked their’s.” Computing is a little worrying – gotta hand it in in 20 mins and I need to do a fair bit before then. Couldn’t do any all day because of the moodle server breaking down.

Ah yeh, universities. Well, decided York as my Firm and Aber as my insurance. I still can’t decide which of the two I like more. I like the course more at York but I just love the Aber campus. Aaaaaaiiieeeeeeee.

Also Pokemon Battled with Ally and lost yesterday. Damned Arcanine and damned my Gengar’s Hypnosis. That was on the way back from ice skating for emma’s birthday which was mint. It was fun guiding Ally and Leah around who were scared as anything going around

Also good to know that Emma and Clee have *finally* announced they’re going out. She’s been talking about it to me and everyone else for months.

Well, that’s all I can think off. Ta-ta.

At College February 25, 2010

Right, better type quickly as I’m at college. Stupid shift button took me  about 3 times to capitalise each sentence :/
Anyway, I know I don’t blog ever, and Ally is probs the only one who checks it regularly, so, Gourmet no Sai (really sorry in Kanji).

Anyways, I’ve got acceptances on my Ucas by pretty much all of my applications so woo I’ve seen Liverpool on my own which I think is great, and York was good too. I think I prefer the course of York but the location of Liverpool…I dunno. Anyway, need to do Aberystwrth, probs gonna go next Wednesday. Can’t wait, – I really want it to be good. I’ll be out for like, 8-10 so eeek.

Let’s see, had to have an interview for University of York also which was pretty good. But I need AA to get in inc A in maths which is worrying :/ – everywhere else wants AB inc B in maths.  So, yh, but it is a Masters after all. I’m considering changing courses as soon as I arrive to Maths WITH Computer Science instead of the “And” – I prefer the maths side of it I think.

Had to do an IT test today, don’t think that went particularly well.  I left like 20/55 marks blank – it was dead har.d Everyone else did it and even Jamie Henson only got like – 34/55? (need confirmation on that)

Rag Week events happening this week. Especially the costume day for tomorrow – can’t wait I loves my costume, but it’s very tight. Also got silly string so everyone better get ready to get strung XD Other rag week events include Patrick’s team getting to the final of University challenge (congrats) – and there was meant to be a Guitar Hero tournament today which kinda didn’t happen, much to my disappointment.

Anyway, better go catch the bus so I can get a decent seat. Ciao.

What To Do November 19, 2009

Right. Well, I know I’m been slacking off my duties and posting on my blog but it’s just that there’s not really much to talk about.

Let’s see – Alton Towers trip was amazing – I enjoyed every moment of it (except the queues but hey – let’s face it – Alton Towers, Saturday, October 31st – of course it was gonna be packed more than minorities in a water park (see the latest south park for details)).

Before then though, got my hair cut. I haven’t made up my mind whether I like it short, I guess it’s more manageable – having thick hair and all. My work colleagues also think my natural colour is better than my previous dyed colours of red/purple, dark blue and black. I haven’t decided on that either.

Handed in my RE project, got quite good feedback on it considering I haven’t done that much. Hopefully have it done by Christmas which  means +1 free every week which would be neato. Not doing so well in my IT and computing coursework – but I’m starting to plough through it now – and hopefully I’ll get to the level I want very soon.

Reading statements my teachers will be posting tomorrow about my reports – most seem pretty good. Oooh, reminds me, better do an assignment for Mr. Chell – he’ll throw a hissy fit if I don’t do it.

Work kinda sucks as usual – doing it every weekend and getting up at 5am can be a pain – but lets face it – I need the moneys. I don’t know what I’m gonna spend it on yet – probably just keep it in case of a rainy day- you never know when one of them will strike.

Shock horror – nothing new has happened in my love life, which means I’m constantly depressed, lonely, bored and feel a little belittled by my friends because most of them are paired up with people so when they all act like s**ually crazed maniacs, it kind of reminds me of the fact that I really don’t have anyone special. Although Anne (my very good american friend) I believe is getting better – really hope she gets better ASAP

I don’t think I’ve ever typed this much in my life in such a short period of time – and that’s including rushing DiDA coursework at the end of year 11. My family are downstairs watching Children in Need Rock the Royal Albert Hall – and I retreated to my bedroom not wanting to listen to the, well, mostly junk.

Oh yeh – got my UCAS submitted – I hope it’s ok. Ms Oberman will check to see if it’s ok – although I might add one thing about getting a silver (again) in the UK maths challenge (is that what it’s called?). It seems I get silvers, almost golds every year XD. Nice work Tom on getting the Gold and the best in the college

Well, Dory Signing off – I may take a hint out of Tom’s book and buckle down with the work – although I’ll probably just first copy his people page only with more people and less detail.

Updatation October 21, 2009

Sounds like an awesome word: updatation.
Just like coolies. I try to make this a little upbeat – kinda not a reflection of myself – but it makes people warm and fuzzy. Maybe I should try a bit of “my life is hell” for schadenfreude (translates roughly to: “happiness at the misfortune of others”) but it has been up and down lately.

My mum is constantly pissed at me. She actually kicked me out of the house for a few hours late 2 nights ago – so I couldn’t go in till like 11:30 ¬_¬ It’s kind of depressing really.

After reading Tom’s blog today – I kinda realise that I’m quite a bit different from him. He’s done his homework, isn’t cared about not having anything going on with someone and is pretty carefree. I on the other hand, am completely stressed out all the time because I never do my homework because I’m always playing poker. It’s really addictive – sigh – and I wish it wasn’t. I mean, yeh, I’m good at it, but I don’t want to waste my life on it.

I’ll talk about my RE project now. Our class is the only class that has started the main project – not to mention we have to hand it in the day we come back after half term which is like “OMFG – you serious?” Well, anyway, I’m digressing but I’m doing a musical project based on war. I’m doing a performance for 2 reasons and these reasons only: I’d already written the song for my music GCSE and there is only 1500 words for a performance.

Well, I need to do my maths homework and will probably not do it and come up with some half-baked story about handing it in “tomorrow” which obviously won’t happen. That and I still haven’t handed in my GUI designs for computing which I’m probably gonna get moaned at.

My Halloween costume arrived today – it’s ok – but I wish I could get some sort of trousers to match it – then it’d look awesome compared to just black trousers but still.

Ugh, My Head October 14, 2009

Just having major headaches all day which f***** kill. Oh, I don’t cuss on here so I can access it at college – see – me is clever :3 (or he wishes). Still can’t even do the stats homework: Banner is mint and Charl’s just some sort of deity ever since she got back – she’s caught up in like 3 days o.0 – Weird, why is the number and the lower case for 0 exactly the sane.

Anyway, moving forward, I also had severe stomach cramps in chem today, had no idea what happened there tbh. They just hurt like heck for 3 minutes before the teacher came and suddenly stopped. Got a lot of homework to do…again because i never do it..including some maths for tomorrow which i haven’t done for about 2 weeks – muhahahaha. On the plus side though, no computing tomorrow coz Mrs Thorley has a meeting – Woo!

But no more frees till next Monday - only having 4 frees a fortnight kinda blows. As I type now, my sister is asleep on the sofa. I feel sorry for her, coz everyone seems ill now at the moment – and she has trouble with her hands as it is. Oh – and Emma and Vicky and Kris (I hear) are unwell so hope you guys get better soon – I really want to annoy you guys.

I forgot to post my driving license pictures – Dammit! this probably means I’m gonna lose about £50 just because the mail is gonna be slow. Also need to buy a costume for halloween because scarefest is like 2 weeks away. I’ve got some ideas – so I’m posting the links and seeing which ones you guys like the most:

ToBo (Thursday 08, October) October 8, 2009

Well, been convinced to post again by Tom. I don’t think blogging is my kinda thing – I can’t make it readable. Once again, got a ton of work to do. Computing for tomorrow, computing for monday, maths for tomorrow twice, it for tomorrow, it for next lesson, chemistry for tomorrow. Plus my personal statement. AGH! Not to mention the RE that needs to be done before half term :O

So, what can I talk about? Well, I’m thinking of writing stories and poetry again (I have some dA (that’s deviantArt) that I might post here) because I really don’t have many creative juices. Oh yes – also remembered that game today which is called Epic Battle Fantasy.

Me and Miley have started taking down names for the Christmas meal at the end of college. I get the feeling we’ll have to book the entire pub for the 2 hours because there’s that many of us (we fill an A4 lined sheet XD). I think I’m gonna have the turkey and chocolate log – because I’m boring, simple, fussy eater and don’t like much else.

Been playing cards again too with Clee, Laura and Emma, Becky, Waz, Shell, Ally and Adam. We play hearts a lot when there’s 4 of us and that seems to be good fun. Maybe I could teach them to play Spades? Add some variety. Nowadays it’s just president, switch or S***head and hearts after I introduced it.

Oh yes, also got my new earphones from Play today. Sennheiser CX 400 – and are absolutely minted for £7.50. And the delivery was quick for play too – only took 2 days. Weird huh? I think I’m losing my touch at table tennis too – Wardy beat me :O 11-6 – that’s just god awful.

Well, all I can think of for now – cyas in a bit.

Well, I’m starting a blog thanks to tom banner (his blog is ttombanner.wordpress.com). I’ve got so much work to do: computing in for tomorrow, maths for tomorrow, chemistry for tomorrow (but my teacher isn’t going to be in, thank goodness).

Jeez – how does Tom rant on and on like this – I’m struggling with more than a few lines.

Anyway – back to homework ranting instead of actually do it. Craddock has made us literally do an entire section of our coursework in for tomorrow – and it’s so boring. I don’t know how people can sit down and do it – and it’s not exactly like anyone would ever read it. Then I’ve got my maths for Chell who sets about a million questions – each harder than the one before. And if I get one wrong – I have to redo the exercise. Pfft.

On the plus side, I talked to my friend Anne in America (colorado) today. I hear her RHD is getting much better and that makes me happier Also talking to another friend, Theresa (whom I originally met on a site I played yonkey’s years ago called neopets) which she still plays and I *think* i have a lot of money or something on there because she wants a gift – which doesn’t really bother me, still, hope she enjoys it.

My parents are going on holiday this week – and I dunno if I’m working Sunday or not because I want to have people round my house. Doubt I would get away with it though – my siblings would murder me – as well as my parents.

It’s coming up to scarefest and halloween time is coming and I’m determined to do something this year. I’m organising a trip to Towers on either the 29th or 31st of October – and I’m struggling with ideas for costumes. I can’t think of anything decent – and anything that looks remotely interesting it like £1,000,000 on ebay or anywhere else.

Not to mention I kinda feel lonely. I mean, I don’t live near anyone and so because of work I can’t just go off on a whim with my friends to cinebowl or whatever. Not to mention I have no-one at all on the romance side of things – not even close – and everyone is sort of pairing off in my group of mates.

I really can’t be bothered to do this work now, but I guess I’ll have to. Reckon I’ll do my maths first – rot my brain before rotting it further with dull repeating typing of junk for computing.

Oh yeh, almost forgot a couple of things.
a) there’s a flash game i’ve been playing and i can’t for the life of me remember what it’s called and I want to play it again. You play a final fantasy like battle scene repeatedly with a man and a woman and fight waves of enemies.
b) dammit – I forgot again ¬_¬

c) (20 minutes later) – Ooohh I remeber. Dragon Age. Looks to be an epic game – can’t wait to get it

*update Currently watching the new bleach movie Fade to Black – and ’tis ok – and anticlimactic sadly. And why isn’t the new naruto out yet either? Pffft. Also – my sister’s complaining about the weather.

For some reason – I keep thinking about what life would be like if I was Sim or a computer generated characters. I guess I’d feel like crap all the time or slightly worried if my owner was lazy like me and didn’t do anything. Then again – I wouldn’t have a brain, couldn’t feel anything and the whole time be a fictional pulse of electrons.

And I also forgot that all my earphones keep breaking. Thank goodness I have more on the way. Play.com take ages to deliver for some reason. Ordered some tshirts for a friend on wendesday i think and they still havent got here yet :/
